AccuMark made the incorrect number of pc in Tubular marker

standjungstandjung Posts: 26 ✭✭
Dear All,

Please help on below issue. I have made marker with tubular option in Lay limit, and assume only using 1 lay of tubular spread fabric. I have come up with the pieces result more than I have expected. I have put ratio M=3, L=3.

I have using AccuNest to do the nesting job. If I am using only 1 ply of tubular fabric then I will get Bundle A (2 pcs Front, 1 pc Back, 2 pcs Slv), Bundle B (2 pcs Front, 2 pcs Back, 2 pcs Slv), Bundle C (2 pcs Front, 1 pc Back, 2 pcs Slv), Bundle D (1 pc Front, 1 pc Back, 2 pcs Slv), Bundle E (1 pc Front, 1 pc Back, 1 pc Slv), Bundle F (1 pc Front, 1 pc Back, 1 pc Slv).

So in Bundle A, I got 1 pc Front more, in bundle B I got 1 pc more of Front and Back etc.
In this case, Bundle D shown the right amount of pieces need.

Total with Gerber I have got (M Front=6, M Back=4, M Slv=6, L Front=3, L Back=3, L Slv=4)

In optitex, this could be done in correct manner. (M Front=3, M Back=3, M Slv=6, L Front=3, L Back=3, L Slv=6).

Can anyone help me for the issue?? I have put the AM data for trial purposes.
Thanks for your help.

    Hi @standjung
Please verify if You've this option checked in your marker's settings:

Basically this setting enable the marker to split the fold piece into 2 individual half pieces when You apply fold command. Turning it off will keep only 1 individual half piece...

Hi @MuhammadOwais, I have turned this setting off but still cannot get the total amount pieces as I want (M=3, L=3) refer to Optitex result. I have turned off and on on this setting and try with Accunest but the result are still wrong. If doing the marker manually there are no problem at all, but when I am doing them using Accunest then I have got this problem. I have provide the data for you to try, can you check again in detail and let me know if I have missed other important setting? You can found all parameters that used to make the marker inside the zip file.

Have you updated the order & resent the marker to plot?

    Hi...
    Does accunest folds the pieces?
  • standjungstandjung Posts: 26 ✭✭
@Vasyl Yes Accunest was pick by itself which pieces should be fold and not. See the the BACK on Bundle C which is fold by ANest while on Bundle B was not.

@andego1986 I am not intended to send the marker to the plotter yet. The amount of pieces as expected was not reached yet. See the ratio (M=3, L=3), so the result should be same as Optitex result.

    @standjung
Please turn on the same "Folding Add Pieces" option in AccuNest Queue:

    for v15 or above:

    for older versions:

Hope this will solve Your problem...

    Regards,

    Hi,

I have using both setting (ON and OFF), but still both of them cannot made the total amount of pieces according to the ratio.

    With Option OFF.

    With option OFF, the result is M Back=4, M Front=6, M Slv=9, L Back=4, L Front=3, L Slv=10. Here only the L Front can get the right amount of pieces needed.

Below is marker with option ON.

Even the amount of pieces was more than option OFF and it was not right either refer to the ratio.

    Hi Vasyl,

Please see the your file made in Accunest with both option "Folding Adds Piece" ON and OFF.
    Both are still not right.

    Hi Vasyl,

We have ratio M=3, L=3 so we will get these amount on every pattern: M Back=3, M Front=3, M Slv=6, L Back=3, L Front=3, L Slv=6. These amount was achieved well on Optitex result (see my attachment before regarding optitex result).

On your marker that shown above, the result on 1 ply tubular fabric will be: M Back=6 (bundle A=2, bundle C=2, bundle E=2), M Front=6, M Slv=12, L Back=6, L Front=6, L Slv=12. This amount was 2x times compare to what it needs on the ratio M=3, L=3, while we cannot put half ratio in order (1.5), right?

Or, maybe you have another idea how to achieve the right amount of pieces according to the ratio using tubular marker made by Accunest?

Sorry. Now i understand your target - 3 bundles per size. Here i will get 2 or 4 in my case.

First idea now is next. Use 2 versions of each piece in bundle. 1st version - mirror piece, 2nd non mirror.
Tomorrow i'll pick here test marker

Try this one updated marker. But OFF add fold piece

  • standjungstandjung Posts: 26 ✭✭
    Hi Vasyl,

Your marker (with updated setting) cat get the right amount for Back and Front, but the Slv was only 5 for each size.

I have revised the setting in Model and Order and get the right amount.

But this workaround was not working for every ratio request. For example. in ratio M4 and L4, if I put ratio M=2 and L=2 the total amount was not right also. If we get request on ratio M2 and L2, I need to change the piece composition in the model as the number of ratio set in Order is already in minimum number.

    Marker result for M=4, L=4,

Anyway, thank you for your help.
I have come to conclusion that still AccuNest was not workable for tubular marker. Might be in the future, if there are some improvement being done and hopefully can bring the completed solution for this issue.

    Thanks
