Cutting Question?

We are having an issue with piece bundles having a lot of frayed edges. I think I know what's causing the issue but would like to know if there is a solution.

I believe this is happening when we have to perimeter lines butted together with no buffering.

We are using a XLC7000 Cutter but we do not have cutworks.

Is this normal or is there a settings that could be adjusted?

looks like you need to calibrate your y axis belt to me.

but you could add a buffer to stop it from happening though that may add more time to cut as it would be cutting twice as much.

Okay thanks, I will have cutter operator to check on calibrating the Y axis belt to see if this helps.

Please check for the correct knife-yaw. if it is out of alignment, problems like this may occur.
In case there is a very small distance between lines, you may activate the "common-line"-feature in CutWorksMPC or C200MT.
You need to enable "Auto Preprocess" and activate "Common Line". The remaining settings need to be adjusted to your favor.

Thank you Jost, we are checking on this now. This isn't some setting that AccuMark is overriding the cutters is it? This was a question the cutter operator ask me. I'm the person who works with the AccMark/markers/cut data.

This PreProcessor processes the exported marker of the Accumark. If you generate AccuMark-NC-Data, it modifies the NC-data, not the Accumark-CAD-Data. Depending on the approach of generating data from Accumark, this function may modify some details (cutting sequence , Startpoints etc. ) Check notches on common lines, too.

@andego1986: vhubbard has no CutWorks available... That why I suggested to use the preprocessor-option which is included in C200Mt and CutWorksMPC.
