Close Marker:
Close Markers or Close Pieces Marker is a type where all the components of a single bundle or group of bundles are placed in a close blocked form. No component is placed outside of the block. This type of Marker is useful when dealing with PTP (Ply to Ply) shade to counter the shade variation.
-------------------------------------------------------
Tubular Marker:
Tubular Markers are way more common in knitwear fabric as it is knitted in Tube form. In this Marker, You can place the folded pieces on both ends of the marker. In most of cases, this Tubular (tube-like) fabric is slit from the center to create open-end fabric but some articles like Tanks and A-Shirts (Garments w/o side seam) needed to be cut on Tubular fabric. Also, some articles like Boxers, Thongs, and Hipsters also produce more marker efficiency in Tubular form than open-end.
-------------------------------------------------------
Book Fold:
Just like a book, the open-end fabric in this marker is folded from one side to create a book-like fold. You can place the folded piece on one side of the marker. This type of marker is common in Trims Like Rib Neck, Bottom borders, etc.
-------------------------------------------------------
Face to Face:
It's not the type of Marker, but the spreading style in which the spreader 2-way spread the fabric.
Group Marker:
Sorry but Not sure about this one.
N.B. All these explanations are as per My limited Experience and Knowledge. Please correct Me if I'm wrong in any of the above and also any further explanation will be highly appreciated...
Thank you so much for the insights.
Did a little research about group markers and found out that it's almost similar to close marker but in group marker, you only group all parts of a single size/bundle together. Check attached image
