CbrantCbrant Posts: 4
Hey Y'all.

Getting deep into the convert pleat tool in Gerber PDS this week and was wondering if anyone had any tips to further understand the steps in using the tool and where this tool might fit into further using other pleat tools. "Pleats? Please ..."

Is something i hope to say in exuberance 3 days from now.
Pleat puns are valid tips aswell, please post.

    To expand:

"what is a slash point ?"  whats it mean? whats the goal of using this term in the pleat tool(s)?

"what is an open point ?" whats it mean? and again what is an "open point" supposed to do?

For reference those are 2 terms used within the User Input Prompts.

Hi, The slash point is the pivot point when opening the piece for fullness.  When you add fullness the system prompts for the open point and slash point.  So if doing tapered or variable fullness the open point is the point where the wider amount of fullness is added and you cut through the piece from the open point to the slash point (the point you slash/cut to).
