Tubular Material

ShelbyShelby Posts: 1

I need help with creating patterns that are cut from a tubular material. How can I set that up so when I go to cut the sides are not getting cut. (We sew t-shirts w/o side seams).

    You need to set up your laylimits for tubular goods and your P-Cutter table for allowing the knife to overcut and cut around the folded edges.

    @Shelby Hi,
    To cut Tubular (Body Size etc.) Articles You have to go through following Steps:
    1. Set up the Lay Limit with Fabric Spread as Tubular and Piece Options with F Checked.

    2. Set up the Cutter Parameter: Add 1 inch Fold Overcut so it will compensate any Width Variation on the edge.

    3. Process the marker with new Lay Limit and place pieces in it.
    (Note: Make sure the fabric width matches the Body width in case of Body Size Articles).

    4. Generate Cut files and You'll see there are no Lines with the width edge...

    Hope this will help You...
