Scanned piece image lost

I am unable to see the scanned piece image when I click on the Toggle Scanner Bitmap button. I was able to see bitmap image the day I took the picture and brought it into PDS using AccuScan. I didn't make any changes to it. I'm ready to make clean it up two days later and the scanned piece image is no longer available. Is there a setting I need to change to keep the scanned piece image a little longer or set it so that it doesn't go away? Or can how can I get it to show the scanned piece image again? Please help!!
