Notches disappearing when Exporting

Hello!

We are having problems with some of our patterns when we export.
The notches are disappearing on the DXF file.

Notches are all labeled correctly in coordination with the P-Notch table in the storage area.
When we try importing the file that we had exported, it will change all the Notches that used to be "1" to a number such as "22" ("22" does not exist in our P-Notch table)

This is not happening on all of our patterns... just a few of them.

Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

How are you exporting?  Are you using the data conversion utility?  Or using send to plotter?, and is this an ASTM dxf or a standard dxf?
  • Hi Lisa,
We have been exporting the model from Pattern Design. We are exporting as an ASTM dxf with a graded nest.

I would check the storage area in preferences, see what storage area is being read,  if that is ok next I would check the notch types on the piece, are they all notch #1 etc.  If you find there is a notch on the piece with a different number, say #6 but there is no #6 in the p-notch table of that storage area then either change the notch type or add that notch number to your p-notch table, then copy that p-notch table to all your other storage areas.
