Best Practices for Computer Systems During Bad Weather

During bad weather it is important to:

1) Back up your data and store it in a secure place preferable at a different location off site.
2) Be sure to properly shut down your computer and peripherals.
3) Unplug power and raise cords at least 2 feet off the ground and away from windows, leaky roofs, etc. You may even want to cover equipment with plastic.
