Optitex Marker import

How do you import an Optitex Marker into Gerber V10? The dxf I have received is only giving me the model and pieces - no rule table or marker.

    HI!
If you would like to import a DXF Marker file you will need to ask for a Standard DXF file or a Lectra Design. mdl file, to be able to import the marker.

If you are only seeing the model and pieces they are sending you an ASTM/AAMA DXF file format. Which is why you are only able to see a model and pieces and no markers.

    Thank you.

If you got marker in dxf or PLT format then the right way is just plot it.
You may import marker to PDS as common piece with internal perimeters. And extract pieces, gather model... grade... Make marker.
Cos if you get model then convert it and make marker manually...

Vasyl's answer is correct, you cannot just import a standard dxf file and have it show as an AccuMark marker. You will need to create the model, Order the marker and make the marker. The only markers you can import into AccuMark and have them show up as markers are Lectra .plx files, investronica makers, micromark markres and Assyst markers. But before you can import those markers you must have the corresponding model and piece files.
